I worked in close collaboration with UE whiz Mary Piontkowski to balance the demands of Search Engine Optimization with our goal to keep the site clean and friendly. Kango offers powerful filtering capabilities, but we kept the interface as simple as possible -- the site caters to an audience not necessarily computer savvy.

Kango changed its name to uptake in April 2008.
