My first real job out of design school was junior designer at NEWS.COM. I was there when the site launched in 1996. During my 2 years at CNET, I also worked on CNET.COM, Mediadome, Builders.com, the CNET store, download.com, activex.com, events.com, chat.com, and Snap!

Twice a day, journalists would come to the design department with fresh headlines. Ensued a mad rush to create images to go with each top story before the edition deadline.
